Is anyone experiencing issues with the ModMic 4.0 having extremely low volume at low gain? With gain boost, a significant amount of white noise is introduced. I am using an internal SB X-Fi Fatality and have moved my GPU further away from the sound card. That has helped a lot with the noise floor but I'm still having these issues. I'm pretty disappointed at the moment. Does anyone have suggestions?

Carefully check the video attached below. You can find said USB Audio Card model on many online stores.
Basically, you'll want to plug *just* the ModMic into the Microphone input of said USB Audio Card.
I've ordered a couple of these when I first committed to this drop.
