Resolution is just a bit above average and the transients are quite fast. Sub bass is really amazing and extends very low. I'm not so sure about upper bass though. The overall tuning isn't entirely neutral and sometimes in some situations it can sound a bit thin or sound like something is not quite there. The upper mids sound slightly off and highs are just a bit boring and less spacious and less engaging than other iems. This might be a good thing if you're sensitive or you get fatigue often. Overall these are good for the price, but they're not super amazing either. I wish i could return this and try something else, but drop has a NO REFUND POLICY on these iems , so please BE CAREFUL. Wish i had known ahead of time before taking the risk. I think I'm done purchasing audio from drop. They're really not bad however. One good thing with single driver iems like these is these sound more consistent, coherent, and more well put together than most multi driver iems. I wouldn't say these are super far off from what you would imagine an iem version of a more bassy HE1000 Stealth headphones to sound like. Headphones usually sound superior, however, and Hifiman makes more coherent planars than what the Supermoon can produce. In comparison to the HE1000, the supermoon has better transients and bass, but worse space, tuning, and resolution. I don't know what other planars the Supermoon can be compared to aside from that.
Turcoda_PandaI got these as well and I 100% agree with your assessment of the tuning! There are definitely things that other official reviews online haven't mentioned - particularly the upper mids sounding off, and everything sounding unnaturally thin sometimes. I was almost wondering if I was sent a faulty unit! Some of those issues are remedied by sticking to the foam tips, which aren't for everybody.
Like you said, they're overall solid for the lower price, and the sub bass is bananas. But they're also definitely my last blind buy - especially from a place with no refunds.
jasonwhatYeah, I agree. These are great for bargain and value hunters out there. For the price they will be hard to beat. But for anyone looking for end game or just a single iem that does it all, the 1k$+ mark has better competition.

Sounds great!
These sound great. Great build quality, black looks great. Choosing another colored Time Stream cable with a 4.4 mm connection pairs well. Bass is clear along with the Highs and Mids. I did change the ear tips, comfort was perfect after that. Will buy another product from Camp Fire in the future.
Don't get me wrong, this is a nice IEM.
If you like the sound of planar magnetic headphones then this IEM is worth a try.
But it feel bad when you see the price drop by 200 bucks just after you receive the IEM a week ago.
